At Concept E, we believe that dance is more than just steps—it’s a form of expression. This pre-professional company is designed to unlock your creativity and help you discover new dimensions of your artistry along other like-minded individuals.

We are collaborating with dancers from all studios throughout the local dance community who are seeking a high level of dance education and to work and network with some of the industry’s top dancers, teachers and choreographers. At Concept E, we foster a supportive community where dancers lift each other up and grow stronger together.

The selected 2024-25 Concept E dancers will learn from some the best Choreographers in the industry including Talia Favia, Tyce Diorio, Jaclyn Royal and more. Our instructors are not just teachers, they’re mentors who are passionate about helping dancers reach their full potential.

Concept E offers regular performance opportunities where you can share your passion with audiences who appreciate the art of dance including community events, additional conventions as well as others.

Dance is not just about physical technique—it’s about mental and emotional wellness too. That’s why Concept E takes a holistic approach to dance education, nurturing both body and soul.

Concept E is meant for dancers striving to become part of a community of dancers who are committed to pushing the boundaries of dance and redefining what it means to be an artist and dance like never before.

Who?

The requirements to apply and be considered for Concept E are:

  1. Age range is approximately 13-19.
  2. Dancer must show they are current member of a studio and dancing and participating at a competitive level.
  3. Dancers will need to take minimum of 3 ballet technique classes per week that will need to be approved by directors Echo Waldron-Noble and Hailey Hipwell.
  4. Mandatory rehearsals on Monday evenings from 7-9pm.
  5. 1 Saturday a month morning class from 7-9am.
  6. Be available for Choreography with Talia Favia and Tyce Diorio in Boise Aug. 5-8.
  7. Be available for Choreography with Jacklyn Royal in Los Angeles Aug. 9-11.
  8. Be available for Chorography on Sept 13-15 in Boise.
  9. Additional travel: a) Conventions include Jump in Las Vegas Nov. 15-17, 24/7 in Bellevue April 4-6, Radix in Portland May 16-18, b) University of Arizona Jazz Showcase Sept. 27-29, c) Los Angeles March 17-23 for classes, agency introduction, etc.

How to apply?

Any dancer wanting to be considered for the 2024-25 Season with Concept E must apply by July 1, 2024.

Please provide the following information:

  1. Short video statement introducing yourself that includes your age, why you would be a good fit for Concept E, favorite style of dance, and your personal goals pertaining to dance.
  2. Current studio, any competitive teams committed to for the 2024-25 dance season.
  3. Disclose all social media accounts including spam accounts.
  4. 1-minute video of the dancer doing a combo or past solo performed within the last 6 months.
  5. This information needs to be emailed to Echo Waldron-Noble at waldron.noble@gmail.com no later than 5pm on July 1, 2024.

Those who make it through the online application process will be invited to an in-person audition will be held on July 8, 2024.

Cost and Fees?

  1. There is a $120.00 monthly Concept E fee that is due no later than the 5th of each month. This fee goes toward rehearsals and rental space each month.
  2. Choreography and costume fees are approx. $600.00 per dance. 3-4 dances will be set for the 2024-25 season.
  3. Standard convention and competition fees. 3 cities will be attended this season.
  4. Additional travel for educational classes at University of Arizona and Los Angeles

Is Concept E a replacement for my current studio / competition team(s)?

No. Concept E is designed to give advanced dancers extra opportunities. It is not intended to take dancers out of their current dance studios. Dancers will not be considered for this program if they do not have a full-time home training studio where they are actively participating keeping up with their monthly contracts and fees.
